Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used,
and the choices you have. The App is a community for watching shows with friends
without spoilers, where you can join private groups, post updates, comment, react,
and track your episode viewing progress. By using the App you agree to the
practices described here.
Information We Collect
We only collect information needed to operate the App:
- Account information. When you sign in with Sign in with Apple, we receive your name and email address (or Apple’s private relay email if you choose to hide it) and an Apple user identifier. We use these to create and identify your account.
- Profile information. Your display name and profile picture. If you do not upload a photo, we generate a simple avatar from your initial. Uploaded images are stored on Google Cloud Storage.
- Content you create. Posts, comments, and emoji reactions you share in your groups.
- Activity within the App. The groups you belong to and your episode viewing progress.
- Device token for notifications. If you enable push notifications, we store an Apple-issued device token so we can send you alerts (for example, when someone posts in your group).
- Purchases. When you buy additional group credits, the purchase is processed by Apple. We receive a record that a purchase occurred so we can grant the credit. We never receive or store your payment card details.
The App does not include third-party advertising or analytics SDKs, and we do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
How We Use Your Information
- To create your account and let you sign in.
- To display your posts, comments, reactions, and profile to other members of your groups.
- To keep your episode progress in sync and hide spoilers.
- To send push notifications you have enabled.
- To process in-app purchases and grant group credits.
- To maintain the security and reliability of the service.
How Your Information Is Shared
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to run the App, with service providers who process data on our behalf:
- Apple — Sign in with Apple, push notifications (APNs), and in-app purchases.
- Google Cloud — application hosting (Cloud Run) and image storage (Cloud Storage).
- Neon — the managed PostgreSQL database that stores your account and content.
Content you post is visible to other members of the groups you join. We may also disclose information if required by law.
Community Guidelines & Content Moderation
The App has a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive
behavior. To keep the community safe, the App provides tools for every member:
- Filtering. Submitted posts and comments are automatically screened, and content that violates our guidelines is rejected.
- Reporting. You can report any post or comment you find objectionable. Reported content is automatically hidden once it reaches our review threshold.
- Blocking. You can block another user at any time. Blocked users’ content is hidden from you across the App.
By using the App you agree to our
Terms of Service, which prohibit objectionable content and
abusive users. We act on reports of violations and may remove content or
terminate accounts that breach these terms.
Data Retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. When you delete your
account (see below), or when you delete an individual post or profile image, we remove
the associated records and delete the corresponding image files from cloud storage so
they are no longer publicly accessible.
Deleting Your Account
You can delete your account at any time from within the App: go to
Settings and choose Delete Account. This permanently
removes your profile, posts, comments, reactions, episode progress, group
memberships, and stored device token. This action cannot be undone.
Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above.
